Starting workers' comp benefits.

If you are injured at work and unable to work, the workers' compensation carrier is required to pay income benfits. Under Georgia law, workers' comp TTD benefits are two thirds of your average weekly wage. If the workers' comp carrier has denied your claim they will not commence workers' comp benefits. Further, there is a seven day waiting period during which you are not entitled to benefits. If you were injured at work and you have questions about payment of workers' comp benefits, contact Atlanta work injury lawyer Brian H. Sumrall at (404) 857-3835.
