Jury verdict for workers' comp claim

Under Georgia law, an injured worker is not entitled to a trial by jury in a workers' compensation claim. Unfortunately, one cannot file a traditional negligence lawsuit against an employer following a job injury. Injured workers do have access to a hearing in front of an Administrative Law Judge.
