Aggravation of pre-existing condition on the job.

Under Georgia workers' compensation law, a workers' compensation carrier is required to provide treatment for an aggravation of a pre-existing condition. However, they are only required to provide treatment for as long as the condition is aggravated. When an injured worker returns to his baseline condition, the workers' compensation carrier is no longer required to cover that injury. If you would like to speak with an attorney about an aggravation of your pre-exisiting condition on the job, contact Atlanta work comp attorney Brian Sumrall at 404.924.4595 or visit
